Mac has been really stretching his questioning and empathy & listening learning muscles.

Keighan has shown determination to stretch her perseverance learning muscle.

Here are our last postcards of the term. As it is recognition for a consistently great term, getting the last postcard of the term is a very special achievement. Congratulations to our three Rimu superstar learners and leaders; kia kaha Bella, Liske and Keighan!

Here are our fabulous Postcard winners from Week 9. They have put lots of PRIDE into their learning.

Khushi has been a great role model in our hub. She puts in her personal best, capitalising on her learning opportunities and is always kind to others.

Reuben has really became absorbed in his learning; showing determination and perseverance.

Mitchell has also shown superb determination, capitalising on his learning opportunities in the classroom and in sports.

PRIDE Awards: Term 2, Week 1

Here are our superstar P.R.I.D.E. winners from Week 1 in Term 2. It was a great start to the week. These three got their PRIDE awards for different reasons. It was a real treat to get to see them step up to the stage and receive them. Kia kaha, Jessica, Bella-Marie and Keagan!

The Return of the PRIDE Awards

We missed the second lot of PRIDE awards while we were on camp. So we were very excited to award these three awards to three very special Rimu learners.

Well done Skyla, Jodi and Mac. I wonder who will win the next three PRIDE awards...

Tough Kids? For Sure!

Last Tuesday, lots of our students participated in the Mitre Ten Tough Kid event. They showed lots of resilience and Parkvale PRIDE to complete the tough course. We are very proud of their efforts.

Charlie's Underwater Achievement

Last week Mrs Love set a challenge to swim as far as you can underwater for all our students. Charlie, who is a Year Four, stepped up to this challenge with grit and determination. Not only did he swim the furthest out of all the students, Charlie managed to swim the whole length without breathing!
